HELP, the Alibris inventory manager has gone mad

It seemed like a good idea at the time.  I decided I would match on Alibris, the prices they suggest to increase my sales.  So like a sheep to slaughter I used the Alibris inventory manager.  It began pricing my books without ISBN by their titles. I had $64.00 books listed for $1.99.  You would not believe just how quickly my sales picked up on Alibris. I mean who else sells a set of 12 books for $1.99?

I decided to put my Alibris books on vacation and send an email to their help department.  They have not helped me.  Enough said in that department.   Shocked

So here I sit at Christmas season with my Alibris listings on hold.  I tried numerous things, such as turning off the inventory manager, changing the minimum pricing, editing, offering slaughtered books to the book god; but to no avail.

Please help me.   cry

Does a refresh through AOB not fix it?

I don't know if you've gotten this resolved yet, but here's something you could check:

From the Seller Hub screen, under Preferences choose Inventory.

In the first section, about half way down, make sure that after "Automatically reprice your listings" is set to NO in the pull down menu.

Click "Update" in the upper right hand corner of the box.

At the top of that screen it says it may take 24 hours to process updates. But I suspect that that would apply more to auto-repricing than turning it OFF. So I'd send another refresh, realizing that that will also likely take several hours or more, depending on the size of your inventory.

Hope that helps. If the "Automatically reprice your listings" was set to on when you sent the refresh the first time, that would explain why it didn't fix the problem.

Well good, glad you got it resolved. Alibris puts buttons in some weird places, IMHO.
